Had 3 meltdowns since yesterday. 2 over math homework (once today and once yesterday) and 1 because he wet his pants a bit today.
Do your kids use the potty regularly ? My 9 yo will not until he's practically wetting himself and many times he does start before he realizes it.
It could be to much stress for him. I think you might want to talk to Teacher about homework issues and what you are seeing at home. Homework is a big stresser for my son and he have eliminated all of it, except for spelling that takes only 5-10 minutes a night, and we do that verbally. When we see a lot of stress, sensory issues get a lot worse. My son will vomit as way of avoiding stressful situations.
((hugs))
My 6 year old does the peeing thing. It definitely seems stress related. He wet his pants frequently at home in the spring when he was going to preschool. He stayed dry all summer, and the accidents started up again as soon as school started this fall. I just keep trying to remind him to go to the bathroom at regular intervals. A timer would probably help, but I haven't tried it yet.
My 9 year old was able to keep up with his mainstream class' homework in 1st grade, but in second grade, the demands increased and he got SUPER STRESSED. It was a real let down for me to realize he couldn't keep the pace, let alone catch up, but it was clear that accommodations were necessary.
You can find some ideas for homework accommodations and homework contracts under this topic on our forum:

Good luck with everything.
I heard some kids don't get the feeling like they have to go. Maybe a routine of going to the bathroom at certain times would help. I'm sure it's frustrating. Wish I knew more.Could you look into getting a wet-stop alarm possibly? It begins to buzz and vibrate as soon as there is moisture, alerting the child that they're going to go potty. You could just use it at home, and eventually he should be able to feel it coming on to avoid the buzz/vibration, and soon after that he should be able to go without needing to use it.
